Dio Dio, a pair of artisans who hand-make traditional Cypriot chairs, teach the craft of weaving a chair seat at their studio in the mountain village of Phini (Foini).
Bring your own traditional chair or coffee-shop chair that needs a new seat and learn to weave it by hand over a full-day session. If you don't have a chair, a limited number of old chair frames can be bought on the spot.
The workshop fee is €45; the woven cord is paid separately, about €45 for a Phini chair and about €30 for a coffee-shop chair. Booking is required.
