About
A weekend in the mountain village of Pelendri devoted to zivania, the traditional Cypriot grape spirit.
Traditional copper stills (kazania) are fired up in the village, so you can watch the slow distillation of grape pomace and taste fresh zivania. Local producers sell village products, and the programme includes folk music and dancing.
Saturday 7 November 11:00–22:00, Sunday 8 November 10:00–22:00. Part of the Heartland of Legends zivania festivals of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism.
