How we collect and use your data
General
Kind Events (kind.events) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible for your data
1FUN PROVIDER LTD (registration number HE 442148, Republic of Cyprus), the operator of the kind.events platform, is the controller responsible for the personal data processed through the platform. You can reach us using the contact details below.
Data we collect
  • Account information (name, email) from Google or Telegram sign-in
  • Event preferences and interests
  • Usage data (pages visited, actions taken)
  • Technical data (device and browser type, IP address, cookies)
  • Payment details for paid promotions (transaction details such as amount, currency, status and payment references) — full card details are processed by Stripe and never reach our servers
Where we obtain data
We obtain data directly from you (for example, when you sign in or set your preferences), automatically as you use the platform (usage and technical data), and from third parties — including event information provided by organizers and users or compiled from publicly available sources. Where a listing contains personal data taken from public sources, we rely on our legitimate interest in running an events directory, and you may ask us to remove it at any time.
How we use data
  • To provide and improve the platform
  • To personalize event recommendations
  • To send notifications (weekly digests, event updates) if enabled
Legal basis for processing
  • Performance of a contract — to create your account and provide the platform
  • Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the platform, to run an events directory (including information from public sources), and to personalize recommendations
  • Consent — for analytics and optional notifications; you can withdraw consent at any time
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the platform: Google (sign-in), Telegram (sign-in and notifications), Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager (usage analytics), Sentry (error monitoring), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payment processing for paid event promotions), and OpenRouter (processing of messages you send to the AI chat assistant). They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service.
International data transfers
Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States). When data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep data
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the platform. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we are required to keep it to comply with legal obligations.
Cookies
We use essential and analytics cookies. For details, see our Cookies Policy
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You can update or delete your account in Settings, disable notifications at any time, or contact us for any data-related request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in Cyprus, the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (dataprotection.gov.cy).
