About the play
The most famous play by R. Thomas, staged by the Russian-language Ostrov theatre. It is Christmas Eve: in a lonely mansion the master of the house has been killed and eight women are under suspicion. Before the police arrive they start their own investigation, and a terrible truth comes out.
A gripping detective story, a family drama about learning to love and accept one another, and a sparkling comedy of intrigue with bright, strong-willed women.
