About
Saxophonist and clarinettist William Scott introduces the swing tradition, born from New Orleans jazz and ragtime and tied to dances like the Lindy Hop. Participants learn well-known swing tunes and explore collective counterpoint, solo improvisation and the groove at the heart of the style. Part of the Windcraft Back series; open to wind and rhythm-section players and other instrumentalists of all levels. RSVP on the Windcraft website.
