The first workshop of Windcraft Back, the series for ten years of Windcraft Loud. Ney player Harris Lambrakis gives a short introduction to the modal music of the Eastern Mediterranean and the world of maqam: working from selected pieces, participants explore several maqams in practice and the theory behind many modal traditions. Open to all instruments and levels; RSVP on the Windcraft website.
