Eleftheria Square is a central public square in Nicosia, rebuilt as a bridge over the moat of the Venetian Walls to a design by Zaha Hadid's office. It links the modern city centre with the old town and is run by the Municipality of Nicosia. The square hosts open-air concerts, festivals, markets and city walks.
