Join us for a special open-air concert at Eleftheria Square, where the historic Philharmonic Society of Corfu—affectionately known as the "Old Philharmonic"—brings its rich musical tradition to the heart of Nicosia. With over 100 musicians performing, this promises to be a powerful and memorable experience for all.

What to Expect

The program, titled Corfu–Cyprus: From West to East, is a beautiful exploration of Greek musical heritage. You will be taken on a journey from the Ionian Islands to the broader world of Greek song, featuring works by legendary composers such as Nikolaos Mantzaros, Spyridon Samaras, Mikis Theodorakis, Manos Hadjidakis, and Mimis Plessas. The evening will also include a special tribute to the October 28 anniversary.
