Get ready for the 7th edition of Queer Wave, Cyprus’s premier LGBTQIA+ film festival! This year, the festival returns to the historic NiMAC exhibition spaces in the heart of Nicosia for ten days of cinematic exploration and community connection.

From September 18 to 27, the festival will showcase a curated selection of local and international films, offering a powerful platform for queer voices and experiences. Beyond the screenings, you can look forward to:

About the Venue

This year’s festivities take place at NiMAC (the Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre), located in the beautifully renovated Old Powerhouse building. As the oldest and largest contemporary art centre in Cyprus, it provides a stunning and meaningful backdrop for this celebration of culture and identity.
