Strovolos MunicipalityOrganizerAbout
The ensemble Mousikoi Synodiporoi presents an evening of music, narration and images devoted to lyricist Lefteris Papadopoulos at the Strovolos Municipal Theatre, as part of the municipality's autumn concerts.
Papadopoulos wrote more than 1,200 songs, including many film songs, and worked with nearly every major Greek composer of his era. His lyrics about love, joy, loneliness and pain have been sung across generations.
On stage: Christos Stasis (narration, bouzouki, harmonica, vocals), Stella Kakoulli (vocals), Dimitris Tsoulakos (vocals, guitar), Marios Solomou (vocals, percussion) and Angelos Doukas (piano); research and visuals by Elena Kyprianou.
All ticket proceeds support the Welfare Association for People with Intellectual Disability. European Disability Card holders and one companion enter free.
