An evening at the Rialto Theatre in Limassol presents a project to document and preserve the archive of Cypriot ceramic artist Valentinos Charalambous as an innovative digital archive.
In short talks, Marina Schiza, Andriana Nikolaidou and Nikolas Bakirtzis explain why Valentinos' work matters, how his archive came to be donated to The Cyprus Institute, and how the digital archive will open up his studio, documents, photographs, memories and craft knowledge to the public.
The event is co-organised by The Cyprus Institute / APAC Labs and Pylon Art & Culture. It lasts about 70 minutes and is followed by a reception. Entry is free.
