CVAR's "Points of Contact" Ceramics Workshop
Join us at the Center for Visual Arts and Research (CVAR) for a special "Points of Contact" ceramics workshop, celebrating International Museum Day 2026! This free educational program is designed to unite our community through art and history.
Explore Cyprus's Shared Heritage
Children will embark on a guided tour of the CVAR museum, discovering the rich history, daily lives, and shared experiences of Cyprus's inhabitants. The Costas & Rita Severis Foundation's collections offer a unique glimpse into the island's past, highlighting coexistence and cultural exchange.
Create Bridges with Clay
Following the tour, participants will engage in a hands-on ceramics workshop. Guided by Kyriakos Theocharus, children aged 6-12 will craft "bridges" from clay, symbolizing connection and understanding. This creative activity aims to foster communication and mutual appreciation across different cultures, echoing the theme "Museums Unite a Divided World."
