The summit aims to foster dialogue and collaboration around the theme "Mare Nostrum: Championing Sustainability through Heritage" and "Fostering Peace through Heritage."

Program Highlights

• Opening Day (May 26): Begin with the captivating talk «Heritage as the Soul of Mare Nostrum» at the Leventis Museum.
• Excellence Day (May 27): Explore Nicosia's rich history with guided visits to the A.G. Leventis Gallery and the Leventis Municipal Museum, followed by the European Heritage Excellence Day at the THOC Theatre, showcasing award-winning projects. The day concludes with a Welcome Reception.
• Awards Ceremony (May 28): A significant day featuring the Europa Nostra General Assembly (members only) and culminating in the prestigious European Heritage Awards Ceremony 2026 at the Municipal Theatre of Nicosia.
• Policy & Hub Forums (May 29): Engage in discussions on heritage policy and sustainability at the CYENS Centre of Excellence, followed by an evening of local culture, food, and music.
• Turkish Cypriot Community Day (May 30): Discover shared heritage with guided tours, a panel discussion, and a closing folk concert organized by the Turkish Cypriot members of the Europa Nostra Heritage Hub.
