CHROMA by Her

To mark International Women's Day, the Lumiere Contemporary Art Gallery presents CHROMA by Her, a group exhibition featuring ten female artists from the USA, Sweden, Lebanon, Russia, and England who live and work in Cyprus.

This exhibition is dedicated exclusively to women artists whose work is rooted in Cyprus, despite their diverse cultural backgrounds. United by place, yet shaped by different histories, the artists reflect a shared commitment to the island as a site of creativity, exchange, and belonging.

The title 'Chroma,' derived from the Greek word for color, serves as both a visual and conceptual anchor. Color becomes a metaphor for multiplicity, identity, and emotional resonance, expressing individuality while revealing points of convergence.
