Breach Experimental Music Festival 2026

A Celebration of Improvisation in Nicosia

We invite you to the fifth anniversary of the Breach Festival—a unique event for Cyprus dedicated to free improvisation and experimental sound. Over the course of two evenings, the Ktirion 53 venue will transform into a space where music is born right before the listeners' eyes, bringing together artists from different countries and generations.

What to Expect

Breach is more than just a series of concerts; it is a living dialogue between musicians, the space, and the audience. This year, the festival program is particularly rich:

• Friday, October 9: Performances by the Breach Trio, the legendary Dutch duo Ab Baars and Ig Henneman, and the Karşina project.
• Saturday, October 10: Sets will be presented by Ralph Sbeih, the Greek duo Circa 19, and the group The Portal.

This is a fantastic opportunity to hear rare performances that can never be replicated exactly. The festival is organized by the non-profit organization Make Music Cyprus with the support of international partners and curator Andria Nicodemou. Come for new experiences and to immerse yourself in the world of contemporary sound art!
