Wine Me Not: A Summer Celebration in Pitsilia
A Day of Wine and Mountain Air
Join us for a delightful summer escape at Tsiakkas Winery! We are opening our doors for a cozy, relaxed mini-festival that celebrates the heart of the Pitsilia region. It is the perfect opportunity to slow down, enjoy the mountain scenery, and connect with fellow wine enthusiasts in a beautiful, informal setting.
What to Expect
This event is designed as a self-service experience, allowing you to wander the grounds and enjoy the day at your own pace. Here is what we have planned for you:
- Wine Bar: Sip on your favorites or discover something new from our cellar, including current releases and special aged selections. Our team will be on hand to help you find the perfect pour.
- Food Court: Savor authentic Cypriot street food provided by To Patriko, featuring vibrant, traditional flavors that pair beautifully with our wines.
- Music: DJ Skenter will be providing the soundtrack for the day, spinning a nostalgic mix of retro hits from the 90s, 2000s, and 2010s.
- Local Artisans: Browse a selection of unique, handcrafted items created by local makers, inspired by the natural beauty and culture of Cyprus.
Tastings and Tours
We are pleased to offer complimentary guided tastings and winery tours throughout the day. Please note that space is limited, so we recommend heading to the registration desk near the entrance as soon as you arrive to secure your spot. Each guest is welcome to sign up for one session.
- Introduction to Cypriot Grape Varieties: Explore the unique character of our local terroir. Sessions at 14:30, 15:30, 16:30, and 17:30 (Max 15 guests per session).
- Aged Wines: Discover how time transforms wine in this special tasting. Sessions at 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, and 18:00 (Max 15 guests per session).
- Winery Tours: Go behind the scenes to learn about our winemaking philosophy. Tours at 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, and 18:00 (Max 25 guests per tour).
Practical Details
- Seating: There is plenty of space for everyone. While table reservations are reserved for groups of 6 or more, individual visitors and smaller groups are encouraged to arrive early to find a comfortable spot.
- Parking: On-site parking is available, and our team will be there to assist you.
- Dress Code: As this is an outdoor event, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes suitable for walking on pebble paths. Since we are in the mountains, it can get a bit chilly after sunset, so bringing a light jacket or sweater is a great idea!
