Thomas Stuber's comedy The Frog and the Water screens at Pantheon Art Cinema in Nicosia during the Weeks of the German Language.
Stefan, known as Buschi, leads a quiet routine in an assisted living community until a group outing lands him among a Japanese tour group. There he meets Hideo Kitamura, and a friendship grows across language and culture.
The 2025 German-Swiss film runs 113 minutes, in German with English subtitles, and is recommended from age 6. Presented by the Embassy of Switzerland with the Friends of Cinema Society.
