"Do you know why the desert is so quiet? Because every grain of sand holds a story. Here is one of them — about an old magician who wanders the dunes with a map drawn by moonlight, about a beautiful princess who waits for her betrothed, and, of course, about a boy with a heart as hot as the sun of Agrabah. His name is... well, you know his name. One day, he came across an old copper lamp. The very lamp in which a mighty spirit languished, fulfilling the dreams of others. He laughed with the clink of coins and sighed with the rustle of sand, dreaming of only one thing: to become human.
And when Genie feels the hot sand under his feet, history will freeze for a moment, and we will all understand that the most valuable thing in the world is something you cannot put in your pocket," say the organizers about the play.
Starring: Denis Polevikov and Vladimir Makarov.
The play features songs based on poems by Vera Polozkova.
