Perseids Meteor Shower at Amiantos Astropark

Join the AstroVerce Astronomy Club Cyprus and The Cyprus Planetarium for a magical night celebrating the spectacular Perseids Meteor Shower 2026 at Amiantos Astropark.

Prepare to be amazed by one of the year's most stunning celestial events, with dozens of shooting stars expected to streak across the sky each hour. It's a truly breathtaking spectacle under the warm Cypriot summer sky.

Bring your cameras to capture the wonder! Our club members will be on hand to offer expert guidance in astrophotography and observing the phenomenon. Plus, we'll have 5 telescopes available on-site for an even closer look at the night sky.

The peak of the Perseids is anticipated for the night of Wednesday, August 12th, extending into the early morning of Thursday, August 13th.
