OlympusMan is a point-to-point half-distance triathlon organised by Activate Cyprus: it starts with a sea swim at Alykes Beach in Pafos and finishes 1,952 m higher, on the summit of Mount Olympus in the Troodos mountains.
The course is one of the toughest half-iron distances anywhere: a 1.9 km swim at the Pafos Municipal Baths, an 84 km bike leg with about 2,410 m of climbing through the Diarizos valley, Kidasi, Platres, Lemythou and Prodromos to Troodos Square, and a 21 km off-road run along the Atalante and Artemis trails up to Olympus peak. There are feed stations on the bike and run legs.
The race starts at 06:45 after bike placement in the transition area (05:45–06:30); the award ceremony for finishers and podium winners is at the Troodos Hotel from 17:30. Race bags are picked up beforehand (Thursday 5 November at the Activate Cyprus office, Friday 6 November in Pafos, with the race briefing at 18:00) — there is no pick-up on race day.
Individual and team relay entries are open; the individual fee is €200 (team €225) and the registration deadline is 2 November. Finishers get a T-shirt, a medal and a bus back down to the start.
