Leandros Sitaros Choir: 60 Years of Melody

The Leandros Sitaros Choir marks its 60th anniversary with a concert at the Strovolos Municipal Theatre, joined by soprano Anastasia Vorka, tenor Domen Fajnik, baritone Andreas Zenios and pianist Borislav Alexandrov.

The programme runs from Handel's "Hallelujah" and well-known classical pieces to songs from The Sound of Music, Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera and Mamma Mia, plus Cypriot and Greek songs.

Founded in 1966 by conductor Leandros Sitaros and led today by conductor Maro Skordi, the choir will honour its long-serving board and members during the evening. The concert is held under the auspices of First Lady Philippa Karsera Christodoulides. General admission; tickets also at the theatre box office on the night.
