Join the Cyprus Opera Society for a delightful evening featuring Gaetano Donizetti’s beloved comic opera, L'Elisir d'Amore (The Elixir of Love). Set against the nostalgic backdrop of the 1950s Italian countryside, this production promises a heartwarming and visually captivating experience for all opera lovers.

What to Expect

This full-scale production brings together a talented international and local cast, accompanied by the 24-member Limassol Camerata Orchestra and the 32-member Cyprus Opera Society Chorus. Under the baton of Maestro Piergiorgio Del Nunzio and the direction of Paolo Baiocco, the performance features:

• Tenor Lorenzo Papasodero as Nemorino
• Bass-baritone Domenico Cagliuso as Dulcamara
• Baritone Marios Andreou as Belcore
• Soprano Giulia Bruni as Giannetta

To enhance the storytelling, the performance includes theatrical Greek-language interludes narrated by Irene Cacoyanni. Attendees will also receive a complimentary printed programme at the venue.
