Beirut Shorts: A Cinematic Journey Through Lebanon

Discover Contemporary Lebanon Through Film

Join us at the Rialto Theater for an evocative evening of cinema as we present Beirut Shorts x ISFFC. This special screening program offers a unique window into the social and political landscape of modern-day Lebanon, told through the intimate lens of short-form storytelling.

What to Expect

Despite the geographical distance, Beirut and Limassol share a profound Mediterranean connection. This event celebrates that bond by fostering a creative dialogue between our two cultures. During the program, you will experience:

• A Curated Selection: Three compelling short films and a live film performance, all carefully chosen by curator Nicolas Khabbaz.
• Personal Perspectives: Through the eyes of diverse characters, you will gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of city life and the human experience in Lebanon today.
• Engaging Discussion: Following the screening, we invite you to stay for an open conversation. It is a wonderful opportunity to share your thoughts, ask questions, and explore the themes addressed in the films with fellow audience members.

Whether you are a film enthusiast or simply curious about the stories shaping our neighboring Mediterranean culture, this event promises to be an insightful and thought-provoking experience.
