Good afternoonkind.events

Arkady Pekarevsky, co-founder of the SELA clothing chain, presents his book "Dukhovka. Business as a Spiritual Path" at The Warehouse in Limassol.
In 1991 Arkady and his brother Boris started with a few market stalls in St. Petersburg; by 2008 SELA had grown to around 600 stores. Later came the Aztec confectionery factory, real estate, investments and restaurants. The book is not a glossy success story but an honest account of communal flats and shortages in the 90s, first steps, painful failures and the small miracles that came when faith and humour beat fear.
The evening includes the author's talk, a Q&A with the audience and a book signing; a limited number of copies will be on sale. The talk is in Russian. Entry is free with registration, and you can send Arkady your question in advance — he will answer the best ones on stage.
