Join us for the third edition of the Antama Festival, a vibrant two-day gathering dedicated to the rich tapestry of music, tradition, and community. Set in the beautiful surroundings of the Nicosia Municipal Gardens, this event invites people of all ages to connect through shared heritage and artistic expression.

What to Expect

Over the course of two days, you will be immersed in a diverse program that celebrates the spirit of the Mediterranean:

• Live Music: Enjoy performances from renowned artists including KORMÒS (Tasos Kofodimos & Yvonne Melissa), Michalis & Petros Kouloumis, TAKIMIA & Fryderiki Tombazou, Trio Nikriz & Stelios Petrakis, the Proodeytiki Kinisi Larnakas choir, and Eirini Pelagia.
• Hands-on Workshops: Participate in traditional arts such as silversmithing, cross-stitch embroidery, basket weaving, silk cocoon weaving, and the art of the pithkiavli (Cypriot flute). There will also be sessions on Mediterranean rhythms and shadow theatre figure-making.
• Cultural Dialogue: Engage in open discussions about the evolution of traditional Cypriot music.
• Culinary Delights: Savor local Cypriot food and drinks, including a live, participatory demonstration of how to make the traditional sweet, palouzes.
