Protaras Open Water
Official preparations have begun for one of Europe's most picturesque open water swimming weekends and marathons, set to take place in the crystal-clear waters of Fig Tree Bay in Protaras.
Two major competitions will be in the spotlight:
- Protaras Open Water – an open water swimming marathon open to all, featuring competitive categories such as 5km Junior, 5km Men, and 5km Women.
- European Aquatics Open Water Cup (2026 Leg 1) – part of a prestigious continental series, including elite 10km races, as well as a 3km Masters race and the Special Olympics.
