Poets' Love Letters: A Dramatic Reading

Join us for a special theatrical evening on World Poetry Day at Mnogoknig bookstore, where actors from Good Sign Theatre will bring to life the heartfelt and intimate love letters of renowned poets and their muses. These deeply personal correspondences offer a unique glimpse into the emotions that fueled some of the most celebrated poems in literature, revealing the real voices and relationships behind the art.

This event focuses on the distinct literary form of letters, capturing genuine feelings and connections. The program features letters by and to literary giants such as Osip Mandelstam, Alexander Blok, Daniil Kharms, Alexander Vvedensky, Joseph Brodsky, Zinaida Gippius, and Lilya Brik, among others.

Good Sign Theatre, an independent company based in Cyprus, is known for its work with contemporary theatrical formats and literary texts. The reading is approximately one hour long and offers the flexibility of free entrance and exit, allowing you to join at any point during the evening.
