International Day of Yoga Celebration

Join us for the 12th annual International Day of Yoga, a global celebration of ancient Indian wisdom and its birthplace. This special event, held under the auspices of the High Commission of India in Nicosia and endorsed by WEDO, promises a healing and enchanting evening.

What to Expect

Experience a unique cultural exchange and community gathering at the beautiful Chlorakas Amphitheatre. The evening will feature:

• Open Yoga Programme: A free-to-attend session suitable for all levels, with yoga mats provided. The Art of Living will present a 45-minute Asana demonstration.
• Live Music & Dance: Immerse yourself in the sounds of Indian classical and World music with a performance by The CrossMigration Band, featuring Sitar, Flute, Handpan, and more. Explore the ancient art of Raga Chikitsa, a sound healing modality designed to balance the nervous system and restore inner harmony, featuring the Raga Megh Malhar.
• Cultural Dance: Witness a captivating Rajasthani Ghoomar folk dance performance by Hemlata Sharma, followed by an invitation to join in the celebration.
