Cyprus Wine Festival: A Celebration of Local Flavors

Join us for a delightful immersion into the world of Cypriot wine at the Wine Aroma of Cyprus exhibition! More than 25 wineries from across the island will gather at Limassol’s Old Port Square on May 31st for a special celebration hosted by the Cyprus Oenophile Association.

Starting at 5 PM, you'll be treated to the enchanting sounds of a live saxophone as you explore a diverse array of aromas and flavors. For just €5, you can purchase a collector's glass and enjoy complimentary wine tastings from each participating winery. Discover unique stories about indigenous grape varieties, the rich history of winemaking in Cyprus, and the distinct characteristics of each wine.

At 8:15 PM, don't miss a special demonstration by Andreas Matheou, president of the association. He'll share expert insights on the proper way to present and serve wines, covering everything from opening sparkling, white, and red wines to ideal serving temperatures, the correct order of service, and fundamental principles of wine and food pairing. You're welcome to simply observe or even participate!
