Discover Cyprus and its cheesemaking, pottery, carving, and textiles through a dialogue between the island's archaeological past and Cyprus's dynamic traditional craftspeople.
Day 1, Thursday, March 12, will begin with cheese (halloumi, of course) and the technologies of pottery and ceramics.
Day 2, Friday, March 13, will be dedicated to stone carving and textiles.
Each section will start with a lecture focusing on the archaeological evidence of each craft, followed by a live demonstration by craftspeople and a discussion.
This is a free event, but registration is required due to limited capacity.
