Beau soir – Beautiful evening

The concert program will feature charming miniatures for piano and voice by Fauré and Debussy. We will wander through the ruins of an abbey and listen to the cool echoes mingling with the wind. We will witness a stunning sunset, reflect on our lives, and then be enchanted by the starry night, lulled into dreams filled with cherished imagery.

In between, piano solos by Martin, Bartók and Ioannou will create a beautiful contrast, offering a quiet moment of introspection.

In the second part of the concert, you will hear arrangements of Greek songs by Ravel – pieces in which the beauty of folklore blends with the elegance of impressionist harmonies. From there, we will gently drift into Greek and Cypriot melodies, brought to life by voice and piano, as well as by flute and accordion – leading to a bright and joyful finale that will surely send you home with a light step, perhaps even dancing!
