Join Cyprus Hikers for a refreshing trek through the stunning Avakas Gorge, a natural wonder near Paphos.
This moderate-difficulty hike spans just over 5 kilometers and is expected to last between 2.5 to 3 hours. We'll begin our journey from the local church, venturing into a picturesque canyon renowned for its dramatic rock formations, vibrant wild nature, and unique flora.
As we explore, keep an eye out for the hundreds of wild goats that inhabit the area – spotting one would be a real treat! For your safety, especially in the gorge where small rocks might dislodge due to the goats' movements, we advise wearing a head covering.
Our experienced guides, George and Stathis, will lead the way. The hike will proceed even with light rain, so come prepared for an adventure!
